Paving

  1. Paving is the process of installing a flat surface made of stones, bricks, or concrete blocks. The installation process involves several steps:
  • Planning: Measure the area to be paved and decide on the pattern, type, and color of the pavers.
  • Excavation: Dig out the area to a depth of about 6-8 inches, depending on the type of soil and climate conditions.
  • Base preparation: Install a layer of crushed stone or gravel as a base for the pavers, and compact it with a plate compactor.
  • Edge restraint: Install concrete or plastic edging to hold the pavers in place.
  • Sand layer: Spread a layer of sand over the base, and use a screed board to level it.
  • Laying the pavers: Start at one corner of the area and lay the pavers according to the pattern you have chosen. Use a rubber mallet and a level to ensure the pavers are level and secure.
  • Joint sand: Once all the pavers are in place, spread a layer of joint sand over them and sweep it into the gaps between the pavers. This will help to stabilize the pavers and prevent them from shifting.

Cladding

2.Your home’s entire appearance can be changed by wall cladding without going over budget.
In colder regions, wall cladding was initially utilized as a supplementary method of insulation. It was also well known for its capacity to offer temporary structural support to buildings and walls.

The ease with which builders and architects could now improve the attractiveness and aesthetics of structures by utilizing stone or brick cladding was immediately realized after wall cladding was first introduced, and this is when wall cladding really took off as a rehabilitation option.

Although there are many different cladding kinds and cladding systems, at SA Paving we focus on the many forms of brick and stone cladding.

Any dull space may be instantly turned into an interesting living space with particular looks and features by installing wall cladding. By adding complementary cladding to the surrounding walls, it is also a novel approach to enliven your outside paved patio areas. Select from a wide variety of distinctive brick and stone options and work together with your SA Paving Concepts & Design Specialist to transform the look of your property or produce some exciting results. As you remodel your home to achieve any style you like, let your imagination and creativity run free.

If you approach it the proper way, wall cladding can turn a plain-looking house into a villa in the Tuscan style. Place some Tuscan cladding stones next to your front door, around your garage, and elsewhere.
